If you are a normal sporting person (the only normal people are the ones you don’t know very well, my mother used to say) then this is your time of wonder and enlightenment.

What are you talking about, Big Red Car?

Ahhh, dear reader, of course I am talking about:

• We still have plenty of college football left to play and if you are a University of Georgia Dawgs fan, you have a championship to win. Really looking forward to the 15 November Georgia v Texas game in Athens, the first time the Horns have ever been to Athens. This is going to become a huuuuuuge rivalry.

• We have college basketball starting up in a couple of weeks with my two favorite teams tipping it off — not against each other — on 3 November. We have Duke ranked at #6 and North Carolina ranked at #25 — ouch.

• We have the World Series coming up in the end of October.

Plus, the weather is getting beautiful here is sunny Savannah and we can start watching the games on the screen porch on the wheel mobile huuuuge screen.

Does life get better than this?
